    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Civil Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

    Duties

    • Operate and monitor machinery and equipment during production processes.
    • Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
    • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic maintenance as needed.
    • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
    • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards.
    • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety practices.
    • Perform labor duties and physical tasks as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
    • Previous experience (5+ years) in an operator role or similar position is required.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical manuals and schematics.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.
