Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Drafter III to support engineering design, plant retrofit, and modification projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with 2D and 3D CAD, engineering drawings, field walkdowns, and plant design environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise 2D drawings and 3D CAD models based on engineering and design input.
• Update existing drawings for plant retrofit and modification projects.
• Support plant-site walkdowns to collect field measurements and dimensional information.
• Incorporate engineering comments, redlines, and field data into drawings.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, plant personnel, and vendors.
• Support or lead small drafting/design assignments.
• Ensure drawings meet applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and project schedules.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of drafting experience.
• Associate’s degree in Drafting, Design, or related field preferred.
• Strong experience with CAD software and design tools.
• Experience with both 2D and 3D drafting/modeling.
• Knowledge of engineering design principles and standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform field walkdowns and work in plant environments.
• Experience in power generation, utilities, industrial facilities, or plant retrofit projects preferred.
