Position Overview: 

We are in search of a skilled Draftsman proficient in SolidWorks to join our esteemed engineering team. The ideal candidate should bring expertise in steel fabrication and possess a solid understanding of piping and pressure vessels. This role is pivotal in translating engineering concepts into precise technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks for various steel fabrication projects.

• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to grasp project requirements and specifications accurately.

• Generate fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOM) essential for production.

• Ensure all designs adhere strictly to industry standards and regulations.

• Review and enhance existing drawings based on feedback and project requirements.

• Assist in troubleshooting design issues and provide effective solutions during the fabrication process.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of drawings and revisions to ensure clarity and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Draftsman, showcasing a strong portfolio in SolidWorks.

• Preferred experience in steel fabrication with familiarity in related processes.

• Knowledge of piping systems and pressure vessel design is highly advantageous.

• Proficient in interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and specifications.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-player.

Education:

• Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
