Lead Drain Installation Technician: Master the Dig & the Tech
Location: Muskegon, MI | Company: Lascko Services
Tired of being just a number on a massive job site? Looking for a role that combines the raw power of heavy equipment with the high-tech future of the plumbing trade?
For over 25 years, Lascko Services has been building a crew of top-tier tradesmen in Muskegon. We are looking for a Lead Drain Installation Technician who loves moving earth, isn't afraid of a hard day's work, and wants to master advanced trade skills that guarantee a rock-solid, high-paying career.
If you want the pay, benefits, and brotherhood you'd expect from the union hall, but with the close-knit culture and rapid advancement of a family-owned business, this is for you!
The Role: Heavy Machinery Meets High-Tech
This isn’t just digging ditches. Yes, you will be in the seat of an excavator handling major outside dig jobs, but you are also going to master the future of the trade.
We will train you on state-of-the-art trenchless technology. You will learn the ins and outs of pipe bursting, CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) lining, and high-def camera diagnostics. Whether you are an experienced pipe layer or a heavy equipment operator looking to level up, you will learn the specialized technical side of the trade here. The knowledge you gain with us will make you highly valuable and open doors for massive future advancement.
Day to Day Action:
Run the Heavy Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate excavators to tackle complex exterior dig jobs and underground utility work.
Master the Tech: Operate advanced camera inspection gear, pipe bursting rigs, and CIPP lining systems to fix lines without tearing up the whole property.
Run the Show: Take the lead on residential drain installations (both interior and exterior) from the first scoop of dirt to the final cleanup.
Pass It On: Take our apprentices under your wing. Teach them how to run the equipment, use the tech, and do the job right.
Own the Job: Keep your provided truck stocked, manage your job site, and talk straight with homeowners so they know their property is in good hands.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Solid, proven background in residential drain or plumbing installations.
Experience running an excavator is a massive plus (if you know how to operate, we want to talk to you).
A drive to learn. You bring the work ethic and leadership; we’ll teach you the advanced trenchless tech.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Relevant certifications (or the willingness to get them—we will pay for and support your training).
