Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and stock stations for service with necessary inventory and prep items.
- Prepare and assemble high-quality dishes according to station recipes and specs as orders are received.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership regarding station needs, assistance, or potential delays.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure guest orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
- Perform comprehensive kitchen breakdown, cleaning, and sanitization duties at the end of each shift.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- 0-4 years experience in working in a kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to culinary quality.
- Comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
- Ability to maintain focus, efficiency, and composure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Openness to receiving constructive feedback and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in cooking methods, food temperature standards, and proper equipment operation.
- Thorough understanding of health department regulations and food safety standards.
