We are
seeking an experienced Diamond (Core) Driller to join our operations team in
Idaho and support high -quality mineral exploration projects. The Driller will
operate and maintain diamond core rigs to collect accurate geological samples,
delivering client -driven outcomes in gold, copper, and silver exploration
projects.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Key
Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>- Primary
Duties (â85% of time):<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Operate and maintain diamond
(core) drilling rigs for mineral exploration.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Perform daily drilling
operations, including hole advancement, core recovery, and orientation.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Interpret and execute
operational plans provided by geologists and site engineers.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Ensure safety, productivity,
and environmental best practices on -site.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Identify anomalies, equipment
issues, or drilling challenges and report promptly.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul> - Supportive Tasks (â15% of time):<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Conduct safety rounds and
equipment inspections (5%).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Perform preventive maintenance:
greasing, fluid changes, minor repairs (5%).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Prepare core boxes, logging
systems, and maintain accurate sample records (5%).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Communicate with crew regarding
hole depth, core quality, and equipment status (5%).<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>- Drilling certification or
equivalent trade qualification.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Minimum 5 years’ experience in
diamond/core drilling for mineral exploration.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Knowledge of mineral exploration practices (gold, silver, copper).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Strong mechanical aptitude and
troubleshooting skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Ability to work in remote
locations and variable weather conditions.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Safety -conscious with
experience following MSHA and environmental regulations.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Preferred:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Experience with
wireline -assisted core drilling and HQ/NQ -sized core.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Ability to supervise or mentor
assistant drillers.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Knowledge of Idaho geology<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
