Driller (mineral exploration / Reverse Circulation / RC) – Nevada

• Primary Duties (85% of time):
  
• • Operate RC drilling rigs for mineral exploration, managing hole advancement (typically 4–8 inch diameter) in various rock formations.
    
  • Ensure consistent sample recovery, handling splitters, and maintaining sample integrity for geological analysis.
    
  • Execute operational plans in coordination with project geologists and engineers.
    
  • Maintain safety, productivity, and environmental best practices on-site.
    
  • Identify anomalies or equipment issues and report promptly.
    
• Supportive Tasks (15% of time):
  
• • Conduct daily equipment inspections and safety rounds (5%).
    
  • Perform preventive maintenance: greasing, fluid changes, minor repairs (5%).
    
  • Install and manage cyclone splitters or sample collection systems (5%).
    
  • Communicate with crew regarding sample recovery, hole depth, and equipment status (5%).
    

Requirements

• Drilling certification or equivalent trade qualification.
  
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in drilling, with significant RC drilling exposure in mineral exploration.
  
• Knowledge of typical mining exploration targets (gold, lithium, copper, etc.).
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Ability to work outdoors in remote locations, often for extended periods.
  
• Safety-conscious, with a proven record of compliance with mining and environmental standards.
  

• Experience with dual-tube RC systems and wireline-assisted recovery.
  
• Familiarity with U.S. mineral exploration regulatory requirements and MSHA safety standards.
  
• Knowledge of Nevada geology
