Drive-Thru Director

Position Overview

The Drive-Thru Director is responsible for leading and developing the Drive-Thru team while ensuring guests receive an exceptional, fast, accurate, and friendly experience every time they visit Chick-fil-A. This leader will oversee the day-to-day execution of the Drive-Thru, coach team members, monitor performance, and help enhance the strategy and systems that keep the operation running smoothly.

The Drive-Thru Director will work closely with the Operator and the Executive Director team to ensure the Drive-Thru supports the overall goals, culture, and standards of the restaurant. They will also help create and sustain FOH systems and processes in general.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Drive-Thru team during daily operations and ensure Chick-fil-A standards are consistently followed.
• Create an exceptional guest experience through speed, accuracy, hospitality, and genuine care.
• Coach, train, and develop Drive-Thru team members and leaders.
• Ensure team members are properly positioned and deployed based on business needs.
• Monitor Drive-Thru speed of service, order accuracy, and overall efficiency.
• Identify operational challenges and work with the leadership team to develop solutions.
• Maintain clear communication between the Drive-Thru, Front of House, and Back of House.
• Help ensure all Drive-Thru equipment, technology, and work areas are clean, organized, and functioning properly.
• Hold team members accountable to restaurant expectations while creating a positive and encouraging work environment.
• Recognize and celebrate team members who demonstrate excellent performance and hospitality.
• Help develop future leaders.
• Assist with restaurant operations wherever needed to support the overall success of the business.
• Assist in creating new processes and systems in the Front of House.

The Drive-Thru Director is expected to lead by example and consistently demonstrate Chick-fil-A's values. This person should be positive, dependable, coachable, and passionate about serving both guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Chick-fil-A experience is preferred but not required.
• High School Degree Required Bachelor's or 5 years Leadership Experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to coach and develop others.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Passion for providing excellent hospitality and serving others.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
