Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Schedule: Typically 3-5 days per week, with opportunities to work special events throughout the year.

Position Overview

Do you enjoy driving, serving others, and representing a great brand throughout the community? Chick-fil-A North Lee Highway is looking for a dependable, safety-minded, and hospitality-focused Team Member to drive our truck and tow our mobile food trailer to locations throughout the Rockbridge region and surrounding communities.

This unique role combines driving, food service, and community engagement. You will transport our food trailer to businesses, schools, colleges, sporting events, community gatherings, and special events throughout the year.

Locations may include Lexington, Buena Vista, Covington, Clifton Forge, Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC), Raphine, and Buchanan, along with other locations throughout the region.

The ideal candidate takes pride in safe driving, enjoys working with people, and is willing to take ownership of the trailer's setup, operation, and cleanliness at each location.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive the designated truck and tow the Chick-fil-A food trailer to and from scheduled locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, trailer, hitch, lights, tires, and other safety equipment.
• Properly connect, secure, maneuver, and park the trailer at various service locations.
• Arrive on time and coordinate with restaurant leadership regarding routes, schedules, and event requirements.
• Set up, operate, and break down the food trailer at each location.
• Prepare and serve Chick-fil-A food while providing genuine hospitality and excellent guest experiences.
• Maintain high standards for food safety, food quality, sanitation, and cleanliness.
• Monitor trailer supplies and communicate inventory, maintenance, and equipment needs to leadership.
• Keep the truck and trailer clean, organized, and ready for the next event.
• Represent Chick-fil-A positively through professionalism, safe driving, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Demonstrated ability or willingness to learn to safely tow and maneuver a food trailer.
• Any required towing qualifications or endorsements applicable to the vehicle and trailer combination.
• Strong commitment to safety, dependability, and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve others.
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with restaurant leadership.
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and accommodate varying event schedules.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, and move supplies as needed.
• Previous towing, delivery, catering, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
