Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles to transport freightDeliver freight accurately and on scheduleScan, verify, and document shipmentsLoad and unload freight safely using proper lifting techniquesUse hand trucks and ramps to safely off-load deliveriesComplete assigned routes and adjust for delays as neededEnsure freight is secure and protected during transitComplete vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery recordsFollow all DOT, company, and customer safety requirementsReport equipment issues, delays, and delivery concerns in a timely mannerCommunicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and coworkersKeep vehicles clean, fueled, and properly maintainedAssist with warehouse duties, including loading, organizing, and staging freight
Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving recordCurrent DOT Medical CardClass B CDL or Hawaii Class 4 License requiredMust be 21 years of age or olderDelivery, transportation, or commercial driving experience preferredStrong safety, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to pass drug screenings and background checksMust be legally authorized to work in the United States
