Schedule:11am - 7pm Tuesday -Saturday

About Us:

The Lead Driver plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of transportation services. This position involves guiding and mentoring drivers, managing transportation inquiries, and maintaining essential records to support the overall efficiency of our transportation team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide orientation, training, and supervision to drivers.
• Receive and manage transportation calls and inquiries.
• Complete all required reports associated with the Transportation Department.
• Model appropriate driving skills to other drivers.
• Work autonomously while transporting clients and performing other applicable tasks.
• Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding all company information.
• Complete all required training as designated by the company and relevant accreditation/licensing entities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Provide training and day-to-day guidance to the assigned transportation team.

Required Qualifications:

Education, Licensure, & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience providing healthcare transportation preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License within the state of employment.
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds.
