Driver Helper BC

A driver helper assists the driver with deliveries and helps keep the work safe and efficient. Key responsibilities usually include:

• Loading and unloading: Move goods safely and secure them properly in the vehicle.
• Delivery support: Carry items to the correct location and help with pickups.
• Order checks: Confirm quantities, check for damage, and report missing items.
• Customer service: Treat customers professionally and follow delivery instructions.
• Paperwork: Help collect signatures and maintain delivery records.
• Safety and housekeeping: Use proper lifting techniques, follow safety procedures, and keep the vehicle and equipment tidy.
• Communication: Help the driver spot hazards when maneuvering and report delivery issues promptly.
• Helper does not drive
• Helper does not interact with the Customer this role will be for the driver
