We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented candidate for Packager and Driver position.
Role: Packer/Driver
Accurately count, package, label, load, and transport products safely and efficiently to customers and vendors while maintaining accurate shipping documentation and company vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable transportation laws.
- Keep the workstation, warehouse area, and delivery vehicles clean and organized.
- Verify component quantities using drawings, route sheets, and job instructions.
- Package and label products according to customer requirements and company quality standards.
- Ensure products are properly loaded and secured to prevent damage during transportation.
- Verify shipping documents and deliver shipments to the correct destinations.
- Operate forklifts, trucks, and trailers when properly trained and authorized.
- Maintain packaging supplies and report inventory shortages.
- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain product traceability throughout packaging, shipping, and delivery.
Authorities:
- Stop unsafe work and report non-conforming or damaged products.
- Refuse to transport unsafe or unsecured loads.
- Sign appropriate vendor pickup documentation.
- Purchase fuel and maintenance supplies as authorized.
- Adjust delivery routes as necessary to avoid hazards.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a Class C classification.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle materials and follow written instructions.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
