Responsibilities of a Driver Talent Acquisition:
- Source and recruit qualified driver candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach efforts.
- Conduct phone screenings, interviews, and candidate assessments.
- Guide applicants through the entire hiring and onboarding process.
- Coordinate background checks, driving record reviews, licensing verification, and employment documentation.
- Schedule and facilitate new driver orientations and onboarding activities.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified driver candidates.
- Partner closely with operations and management teams to meet driver staffing needs and hiring goals.
- Attend job fairs, hiring events, and recruiting initiatives to promote employment opportunities.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting metrics.
- Provide ongoing communication and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications for a Driver Talent Acquisition:
- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, human resources, sales, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and establish relationships with candidates from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Self-motivated, professional, and results-driven.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
