We are currently seeking a dependable, safety-focused Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our Reading Logistics team. This position combines local delivery responsibilities with hands-on warehouse duties. The ideal candidate enjoys being on the road, working independently, and contributing as part of a warehouse team.
Responsibilities:
Delivery & Driving
- Safely load, transport, and unload products at customer locations.
- Complete deliveries accurately and efficiently while following assigned routes and delivery instructions.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and documentation.
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles in accordance with company and DOT safety standards.
- Handle customer payments or financial transactions accurately when required.
- Return merchandise and related documentation to the warehouse as needed.
Warehouse
- Receive, organize, and put away incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pull, pick, and pack customer orders and back orders accurately.
- Stock pipe, wire, and other electrical materials.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Verify products against shipping tickets and customer orders.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work areas.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as business needs require.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles in accordance with DOT and company requirements.
- Ability to read and understand customer orders, shipping tickets, and delivery instructions.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with loading, unloading, picking, packing, and handling warehouse materials.
