Summary
Delivery drivers ensure that the customer’s product is safely delivered on time and in excellent condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Drive truck over established route to deliver and sell products or render services, ensuring appropriate documentation is generated for each load and that the product is delivered safely
- Load and unload truck (in building or on job site), verifying loads for quality and completeness
- Perform daily inspection of assigned company vehicle, and ensure it is kept clean and presentable
- Assist with warehouse operations when necessary
Requirements - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- 2 or more years professional driving experience
- Highly dependable
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Heavy lifting is required. May be required to move up to 400 pounds with assistance from a team member.
- Safe driving in inclement weather
- Ability to qualify for a DOT certification
