At Dycom, as a Driving Safety Analyst, you'll be responsible for ensuring the consistent execution of safe driving practices using state-of-the-art technology to train and coach our drivers. The goal is to support the creation of a healthy and safe workplace through the education of drivers to improve performance.

What you'll do

• Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks
• Coach drivers via remote technology and in-person on their driving behaviors
• Using a combination of our in-cab monitoring system and defensive driving techniques, coach eld personnel to improve performance
• Monitor safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
• Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
• Provide classroom instruction to new and experienced drivers
• Provide in-the-car training and evaluations of drivers
• Ability to analyze data and determine trends to make recommendations
• Other duties as assigned

What you'll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record are mandatory
• Proven experience as a safety specialist or degree in related eld
• Demonstrated passion and experience in driver training, evaluation, and ongoing coaching
• Must be comfortable with intervening/speaking up when unsafe acts or processes are observed
• Ability to speak in front of large groups
• Must be comfortable communicating with people in leadership positions
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to determine and explain which behaviors should be coached and recommend when action should be taken

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely:
• Able to travel domestically (approximately 20% of the time) by car and air
• Engage in standard office activities such as standing, sitting, and using computers for extended periods.
• Occasionally: exposed to outside weather conditions
