Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

About the Position

Con App Inc. is hiring an experienced Drywall Mechanic to join our crew on new home residential projects in Richmond, Williamsburg and Tidewater, Virginia. The ideal candidate is a skilled tradesperson who can work in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining quality, schedule, and safety. This role works across multiple job sites.

Compensation & Benefits

• $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

As a Drywall Mechanic, responsibilities may include:

• Inspect, patch, and finish drywall so surface repairs and minor flaws are not visible
• Cut out, replace, and patch damaged drywall sections
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Drywall Mechanic experience preferred; compensation is based on experience
• Proficiency with the hand and power tools of the trade
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• High visual acuity to identify subtle lighting shadows and surface imperfections that may appear after painting

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of drywall repair work, including:

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work overhead for extended periods
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts
• Work in varying jobsite conditions, including heat, cold, and dust
