Project Manager – Commercial Drywall

Are you a driven Project Manager with commercial drywall experience who enjoys keeping projects on track from kickoff to closeout? Our client is growing rapidly and has more work than they can currently manage. They're looking for an experienced Project Manager to help oversee multiple commercial drywall projects and support their continued expansion.

This is not an estimating position. The primary focus is managing active projects, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial drywall and interior finishes projects simultaneously.
• Oversee projects from award through closeout.
• Prepare, review, and manage change orders.
• Coordinate with general contractors, field superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall progress.
• Review takeoffs as needed to support project execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial drywall or specialty interiors.
• Strong understanding of drywall construction methods and project sequencing.
• Experience managing change orders is required.
• Familiarity with takeoffs and project documentation.
• Experience using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and QuickBooks, or BuzzBid.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior finish projects.
• Experience coordinating directly with general contractors.
• Knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and closeout documentation.
