Direct Support Professional (DSP) Home Manager

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities - our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

Requirements for this position include:

• At least 18 years of age.

• At least 1 year experience is preferred.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Personal, reliable vehicle that you''re willing and able to use to transport individuals served required.

• Valid Ohio driver''s license and car insurance.

• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest''s Authorized Driver Criteria

• No OVI/DUI''s, reckless operations, or speeding violations more than 20 MPH over posted limit

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years or more than 5 points

• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
