About the Role:
Better Healthcare Services LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our growing team in Springfield, VA. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed
• Transport clients to appointments, community outings, and day programs
• Foster independence and community inclusion through skill-building activities
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or CNA preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and person-centered approach to care
