Role Overview

Our dispatchers schedules and coordinates technician dispatch, communicates with customers regarding appointment times and service updates, and serves as a customer’s primary point of contact for service scheduling. This role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic office environment.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Schedule and coordinate all booked service & maintenance calls
• Proactively plan, forecast, and dispatch service calls
• Accurately dispatches the required Service Technician with the correct skill level for the service call, minimizing unnecessary costs and building customer confidence
• Communicate the status of the service call to the customer while it is in progress and follows up with the customer after the service call has been completed
• Determine best course of action, using discretion and judgment to ensure all technician and client concerns are dealt with in a timely manner to enhance client satisfaction and retention
• Work closely with various departments to provide administrative tracking support
• Make recommendations to improve and strengthen the Customer experience
• Work cohesively with various departments to support and promote multiple business solutions
• Join the weekend rotation to ensure that customers are taken care of in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of inbound/outbound call center, customer service, sales, or dispatching experience
• Proficient and skilled use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient at capturing and inputting accurate information within company systems
• Must be able to pass drug test and background check
• Previous experience coordinating schedules or preforming dispatch duties is a plus
• Previous experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical services, or construction is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit at a desk within an office environment for long periods of time
