About the Role:
Jersey ChildCare LLC is looking for a passionate and adaptable Early Child Care Floater to join our team in Brick, NJ! In this dynamic role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple classrooms, supporting children's growth and development every single day. Responsibilities:

• Float between classrooms to provide coverage and support for lead teachers and assistant teachers as needed
• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, play, and learning experiences
• Assist with daily routines including meals, nap time, and personal hygiene for young children
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment at all times
• Follow all state licensing regulations, childcare policies, and health and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding children's daily progress and needs
• Support behavior management and social-emotional development in young children

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare, or preschool setting preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt quickly to different age groups and classroom environments
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and meet NJ childcare licensing requirements
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, dependable, and a true team player
