We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Early Head Start Float to join our team in Central Falls, RI. The Early Head Start Float will provide support across multiple classrooms, ensuring consistent, high-quality care and education for infants and toddlers enrolled in the Early Head Start program.
Key Responsibilities
Provide classroom support and coverage for Early Head Start teachers and assistants as needed.
Implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of infants and toddlers.
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children and families.
Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and program coordinators to support child development and family engagement.
Assist with documentation, assessments, and reporting in accordance with program standards.
Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and needs.
Qualifications
Ability to work flexibly across multiple classrooms and sites.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or higher education in Early Childhood Education preferred.
