RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and participate in the smooth running of a loving early childhood classroom at a highly regarded educational child care center.
• Create and deliver lesson plans, care for each child individually, and assess developmental needs of students.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
• Communicate positively with parents, co-workers, and management.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• CDA, Two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required.
• Previous experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher in a licensed preschool or early development center preferred.
• Experience using Teaching Strategies Gold and Brightwheel is a plus.
• Able to furnish required clearances.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sense of humor encouraged.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 hrs per week

Pay: $15-$20 per hour depending on years of experience and education

Schedule: Monday to Friday,  8 hour shift (between the hours of 7am-6pm)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• MUST have a DEEDs Early Learning Teacher Certificate.
