Ninety percent of a child's brain development happens before the age of 5, and we're on a mission to help our youngest learners start strong! Join Early Learning Corps as an Early Learning Tutor and you'll spend your days in a pre-kindergarten classroom to help students build skills and confidence. We'll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way! How does it work? Partnering with a teacher, you'll help enhance learning. Whether talking, reading, writing, singing, or playing with students, you'll be helping them to build early literacy and math skills. Essential Qualifications By the time you begin your service with Early Learning Corps, you should be: Dependable and have a history of good attendance Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online) Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States Able to successfully complete a background check Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.
