Location: Leeds, North Yorkshire - Athelstan Community Primary School

We require an outstanding and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working team in our busy 'outstanding' Early Years unit. The post is 30 hours per week, working across the EYFS classrooms under the direction of the class teachers. The post will involve supporting all children across the early years, this may include supporting some children with SEND. Athelstan School is a friendly, warm and welcoming school, there is a strong family and inclusive ethos, where teamwork is highly valued and the role of the individual within the team is respected.

Candidates should be committed to following a creative, child centred approach to teaching and learning and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You would work alongside an established motivated and supportive Early Years Team, led by our Early Years Manager.

Every opportunity is taken to engage children's interests and inspire them. In all areas of provision, children play and learn well together.
