Description:

* Care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients served, as defined in the scope of• service for the area of practice.* Completes cardiology procedures paying particular attention to all details insuring a• quality study.* Reviews all procedures obtained by new hires and students for accuracy, correct data and• technical data.* Demonstrates proper technique for performing routine ECG s.* Acquires Signal Average ECG s according to physician s specifications.* Operates holter scanning equipment, scans are thoroughly analyzed, significant data• recognized and representative strips documented.* Assists in the performance of stress testing, treadmill exercise routine, • nuclear• medicine and stress echocardiography. Proper procedure is adhered • to 100% of the time.• Accurate data is obtained for physician interpretation. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:* High school diploma or equivalent required.* Minimum one (1) year of work experience; Certified Technician is preferred.* Requires ability to perform all basic electrocardiographic procedures in a timely andefficient manner.

LICENSURE* Current CPR required* Prefer National Certification for Cardiology Technicians.
