Ecommerce Operations Manager

Payrate: $75.00 - $75.56/hr.
 
Summary:
The Ecommerce Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of ecommerce operations. This role involves managing product launches, lifecycle management, campaign execution, site operations, and digital experience optimization to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive business growth.
 
Responsibilities

• Product Launch & Readiness Management:
  • Lead end-to-end product launch operations, managing timelines, milestones, dependencies, and launch readiness across cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as the central PMO to align with Business, Marketing, Engineering, Development, QA, Legal, and Global stakeholders and ensure all launch requirements are completed on time.
  • Drive launch readiness reviews, proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, coordinate resolution to maintain launch timelines.
  • Ensure product, content, pricing, promotional, inventory, and site requirements are validated and ready to go-live.
  • Coordinate post-launch validation and issue resolution to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful product launch.
• Product & PDP Lifecycle Management:
  • Own the end-to-end product and PDP lifecycle, including SKU onboarding, PIM setup, PDP creation, maintenance, and EOL management.
  • Partner with Business, MX, and D2C teams to ensure product data, attributes, specs, and digital content are accurate and complete.
  • Manage product readiness, identifying and resolving issues that may impact product discoverability or customer experience.
  • Monitor and resolve post-launch PDP and product content issues while driving continuous improvements to product operations.
• Campaign & Site Experience Management:
  • Lead end-to-end operational execution of global and local campaigns for NC business, including content localization, and campaign setup.
  • Translate global campaign strategies into locally relevant digital experiences while ensuring alignment with global standards, brand guidelines, and local business requirements.
  • Coordinate campaign assets, content, legal requirements, and stakeholder approvals to ensure all experiences are launch-ready.
  • Conduct pre- and post-launch QA and site validation to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and a consistent customer experience.
• Site Operations, Governance & Continuous Improvement:
  • Establish and manage operational workflows, governance, intake processes, approval requirements, QA standards, and SLAs to improve execution consistency and site quality.
  • Maintain operational trackers, documentation, and reporting to provide visibility into launches, site changes, issues, and overall operational performance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, reduce defects, and enhance the scalability and reliability of digital commerce operations.
• Analytics & Digital Experience Optimization:
  • Leverage site, product, campaign, and customer behavior data to identify opportunities, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as traffic, conversion, engagement, product performance, and campaign effectiveness to evaluate business and customer impact.
  • Translate data and performance insights into actionable recommendations to optimize product merchandising, site experiences, campaigns, and operational processes.
  • Partner with Analytics, Marketing, Product, and Category teams to develop and evaluate A/B tests and other optimization initiatives.
  • Establish a continuous improvement approach by measuring post-launch performance, identifying optimization ideas, and using data to inform future launches and site strategies.

 
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in ecommerce digital product operations or digital experience management.
• Experience partnering with product, engineering, UX, analytics, and marketing teams.
• Strong knowledge of CMS, PIM, product catalog management, search, taxonomy, and digital merchandising platforms.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience using data to drive decisions.
• Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent project management systems.
• Must be organized and highly detail-oriented.
• Ability to use and adopt AI tools.

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $75.00 - $75.56/hr.. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
