    Job Title: Senior Economist

    Disclaimer: This position is being recruited in support of potential future contract awards. Qualified candidates may be considered for upcoming opportunities supporting federal government clients. This position requires candidates to obtain and maintain the required government security clearances.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Approaches the position with practical experience in applied economics and economic development, preferably as applied to transportation and logistics.
    • Provides project leadership in support of strategic, business, and action planning, performance measurement analysis, and business process and action planning and analyses.
    • Compiles, analyzes, and reports data to explain economic phenomena and forecast market trends. Applies mathematical models and statistical techniques.
    • Leverages AI tools appropriately to augment human analysis.
    • Develops economic guidelines and standards and prepares points of view used in forecasting trends and formulating economic policy.
    • Responsible for development and maintenance of regional economic and freight/commodity flow databases, and econometric and input/output models.
    • Duties include managing projects, internal teamwork assignments, client contact, and contract administration. contract administration.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science (BS), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Master of Science (MS) or Master of Arts (MA) degree and minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
    • Practical experience in applied economics and economic development preferred.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearances.
    • U.S. Citizen.
