Required Skills:
Current New York State CNA certification
Valid BLS certification
At least one year of patient care experience
Ability to pass pre-employment health screening
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong patient focus and attention to safety
Knowledge of normal growth and development
Proficiency in vital signs, toileting, bathing, and feeding activities
Ability to respond effectively to changing patient needs
Competence in maintaining a safe work environment and participating in quality improvement initiatives
Effective communication with healthcare team members and patients
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in emergency department settings
Additional certifications in patient safety or specific nursing procedures
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience in a healthcare setting
Prior experience working in emergency or urgent care environments is a plus
Other Requirements:
Night shift availability (8-hour shifts)
Ability to work rotating or consistent night schedules
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and complying with healthcare regulations
Flexibility to assist with travel or licensure-related reimbursements when applicable
