ED Registered Nurse

Overview:

Position: Registered Nurse

Location: Redding, CA

Department: Emergency Services 

Shifts Available: Per Diem - Nights

Pay: $126.00/hr; up to $1,764 daily gross pay per shift

Responsibilities:

• Provides safe, direct patient care in the Emergency Department and Telemetry.Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Educates patients and families and supports nursing staff.
• Communicates patient condition changes and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Responds quickly to changes in patient status and treatment response.
• Ensures compliance with EMTALA, abuse reporting requirements, patient privacy, and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS certificate required.
4. Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC required.
5. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation required.
6. Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting required.
