Job Title: EDI Integration & IT Support Specialist Location: Middleborough, MA (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote) Job Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a versatile IT professional to join our team in Southeastern MA. This is a unique role designed for someone who specializes in data integration but also enjoys hands-on technical support. The workload is structured as a 60/40 split: roughly 60% of your time will be dedicated to managing our EDI processes(TrueCommerce) and ERP data flow, while the remaining 40% will focus on general computer and hardware maintenance.
You will not be carrying the weight of the entire IT department on your own. We partner with Retrofit, who fully manages our cybersecurity infrastructure and provides additional backup for general IT support, ensuring you can focus on daily operations.
Key Responsibilities EDI & Systems Integration (60%)
Serve as the primary point of contact for all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations, including mapping, testing, and troubleshooting transactions with major retail accounts like Amazon.
Manage data flow and integration within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Insight works and Dynamic Ship ensuring seamless processing of purchase orders, invoices, ASNs, etc.
Monitor system communications between our warehouse operations, WMS, and the ERP to prevent bottlenecks.
Identify opportunities to automate WMS manual data entry processes.
General IT & Hardware Maintenance
Provide day-to-day desktop support for on-site and remote employees (workstation setup, software troubleshooting, printer maintenance).
Perform routine maintenance on warehouse tech equipment and office hardware.
Act as the primary internal liaison with Retrofit, escalating complex support tickets and collaborating with them on overarching network or hardware projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing EDI mapping, troubleshooting, and transaction monitoring.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Familiarity with IT support in a warehouse, distribution, or facility operations environment is highly preferred.
Solid foundation in general computer maintenance, Windows operating systems, and basic network troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical issues to non-technical staff.
