Education Adjunct Instructor

The Education Adjunct Instructor teaches collaboratively with program faculty in undergraduate and/or graduate education courses; supports courses in areas such as early childhood education, special education, inclusive practices, assessment, classroom management, literacy, educational psychology, instructional methods, field-based experiences, and related areas; and supports the Mercyhurst University mission and the Department of Education's commitment to preparing reflective, ethical, and effective educators who are responsive to the needs of diverse learners. Responsibilities include teaching a full course section and supervising course-related field-based experiences; preparing and delivering course content, facilitating student engagement, assessing student learning, providing timely feedback, supporting students' professional development, and maintaining communication with department faculty; and teaching in one or more undergraduate or graduate courses offered through the Department of Education, depending on qualifications, experience, and departmental need.
