Educational Interpreter

BlueCloud Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Educational Sign Language Interpreter to join a school district in Keene, New Hampshire for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing in the classroom and throughout the school day.

Position Details

• Full-time
• Monday-Friday following the school calendar
• 2026-2027 school year
• School-based position
• Opportunity to work alongside dedicated educators and support staff

Responsibilities

• Interpret classroom instruction and school-related communication using American Sign Language (ASL).
• Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, classmates, and school personnel.
• Support student participation in academic instruction, extracurricular activities, and school events.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and related service providers to promote student success.
• Maintain confidentiality while adhering to professional interpreting standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Previous educational or K-12 interpreting experience preferred.
• 3.5 EIPA score or better and/or RID certification preferred (or ability to meet New Hampshire school requirements).
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative educational team.
• Must successfully complete all required employment screenings and background clearances.
