    Job Description

    Overview

Do the Work You Love, With Flexibility Built In

Are you an EEG Technologist who thrives on precision, independence, and real impact? At MPOWERHealth, you'll spend most of your shift monitoring studies remotely from your own secure workspace, then step on-site when patients need you. It's the best of both worlds: the focus of remote work and the connection of hands-on patient care.

You'll monitor up to four concurrent EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies in real time, catching what matters and helping clinical teams make confident decisions for patients from newborns to adults.

    Responsibilities

    What You'll Do

    • Be the eyes on every study. Monitor EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies in real time.
    • Spot what others miss. Recognize and differentiate normal and abnormal EEG patterns across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
    • Capture the full picture. Document seizure semiology with precision.
    • Bring your technical edge. Operate and troubleshoot leading systems, including Cadwell, Nihon Kohden, and Xltek.
    • Show up for patients. Perform routine EEG procedures and unhook patients at the conclusion of studies.
    • Own your work. Operate independently with minimal supervision, backed by a team that has your back.
    • Communicate with care. Partner professionally with patients and medical staff.

    Why You'll Love It Here

    • Mission that matters. Join a team dedicated to safer outcomes for every patient.
    • Remote-first flexibility. Most of your monitoring happens from your own workspace.
    • Variety in your day. Remote monitoring and on-site patient care keep your skills sharp.
    • Growth across modalities. Build deep expertise in EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG.
    • Leadership that supports you. Report to the Managers, EEG Operations.

    Qualifications

    What You Bring

    • ABRET R. EEG T. certification (CLTM a strong plus)
    • At least 1 year of EEG experience
    • Current AHA CPR certification
    • Valid driver's license
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology as they relate to EEG
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and typing speed of 45+ WPM
    • Availability for 12-hour shifts

    Your Remote Setup

    • Secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace free from unauthorized viewing
    • Reliable internet with a backup connection
    • Ability to store and maintain EEG equipment and keep enough supplies on hand for multiple setups

    Physical Requirements

    • Lift and move up to 50 lbs
    • Stand, kneel, and stoop as needed
    • Sit for extended periods
