Requirements
- 3 years or more of experience with business analysis for electronic health record initiatives in healthcare or public health.
- Proficiency in EHR requirements elicitation, analysis, prioritization, documentation, and stakeholder validation.
- Experience with current- and future-state workflow analysis, process mapping, gap analysis, and SOP documentation.
- Experience with use cases, business rules, requirements traceability matrices, risk analysis, and executive reporting.
- Experience in UAT planning, test scenario development, defect tracking, Lean Six Sigma, and change management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, prioritize, and maintain clinical, operational, data, and reporting requirements for EHR initiatives.
- Turn stakeholder workflows and needs into clear, testable, solution-neutral requirements.
- Map current- and future-state EHR workflows to find gaps, dependencies, impacts, and process improvements.
- Reconcile shared and program-specific requirements across stakeholder groups, and document decisions and exceptions.
- Validate configured EHR functionality through test scenarios, UAT, defect documentation, and readiness reviews.
- Coordinate analysis activities with project management, and report on requirement status, risks, issues, and open decisions.
