Job Summary: We have an opening for an EHS Coordinator to support our Hoover Architectural Solutions (HAS) business in Eastman, GA. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the EHS Coordinator is responsible for maintaining environmental and safety compliance at the HAS plant location. The EHS Coordinator will continuously assess proactive programs and efforts designed to eliminate injuries, illnesses and environmental impacts. The EHS Coordinator will also lead employee onboarding and training efforts at the plant location. This position will be 50% plant floor and 50% office based. The candidate must be able to conduct safety inspections, incident investigations and risk assessments in a non-climate- controlled environment, requiring them to be standing/walking for up to an hour at a time. This is an hourly position with the salary range from $55k-$65k, depending on experience and certifications. A successful candidate will have proficiency with MS Office applications and strong written/verbal communication skills. From an environmental and safety perspective, success will be achieved by proactively identifying, controlling, reducing, and eliminating exposures. From an onboarding and training perspective, success will be measured by maintaining minimal new hire injuries/illnesses and employee engagement. Essential Functions/Duties:
