EHS Manager (Bilingual)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS Manager (Bilingual) to join our team in Woodridge, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring workplace safety and environmental health standards are met and maintained. Your expertise in EHS management and root cause analysis will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety and compliance within our facility. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular workplace safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for incidents and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS activities and compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for EHS-related inquiries and communications, both internally and externally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and EHS management systems.
• Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to engage and educate diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are a plus.
