EHS Manager

The GOR Group is recruiting a Project Safety Manager for a client expanding its data center construction operations across the United States. This is a field based leadership role for someone who can build a strong safety culture, support site teams, and manage Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs in fast moving construction environments.

The selected candidate will train in Plano, Texas, before deploying to data center projects nationwide. They will work closely with site leadership, subcontractors, and corporate EHS partners to identify risks, maintain compliance, and help every team member return home safely.

What You'll Do

• Lead day to day EHS activities at assigned project sites, including inspections, audits, site walks, toolbox talks, and hazard mitigation.
• Partner with site leadership to meet company, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
• Supervise and develop assigned EHS Specialists and Safety Coordinators.
• Deliver safety onboarding, training, and coaching for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and follow up.
• Maintain EHS documentation, safety data sheet inventories, metrics, and reports.
• Communicate site safety performance and concerns to the EHS Program Manager and other stakeholders.
• Review and improve safety procedures, forms, and field practices as projects grow.
• Bring consistent safety leadership to new data center construction sites across the country.

What You Bring

• A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field, or a BCSP certification such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or OHST.
• At least 8 years of progressive EHS leadership experience in construction.
• OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500 or 510 strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Hands-on experience with construction site inspections, incident investigations, contractor safety, hazard mitigation, and training.
• The ability to coach field teams, address concerns directly, and influence leaders at every level.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills, including proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and digital reporting systems.
• Availability to travel nationwide and work onsite daily at assigned projects.
