Regulatory Affairs & EHS Manager
Are you a regulatory and EHS professional looking for an opportunity to own and lead an entire compliance function? Our client is seeking a Regulatory Affairs & EHS Manager to serve as the organization's subject matter expert for chemical regulatory compliance, environmental programs, workplace safety, and product stewardship.
This highly visible role partners with laboratory, manufacturing, operations, and leadership teams to ensure compliance with domestic and international regulations while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
What You'll Do
Author, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and product labels.
Classify chemical products for transportation, handling, storage, and disposal.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, GHS, REACH, RCRA, DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
Lead environmental compliance programs, including Tier II, SWPPP, SPCC, air permits, and hazardous waste management.
Maintain regulatory databases, permits, safety documentation, and compliance records.
Develop and deliver safety training programs, including HazCom, Forklift Safety, LOTO, and general workplace safety.
Provide regulatory and EHS guidance across laboratory, manufacturing, and operations teams.
Support audits, inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field preferred.
Experience with SDS authoring, chemical hazard classification, and EHS compliance within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with SDS software platforms .
Strong knowledge of environmental and chemical regulatory requirements.
Ability to work independently and manage all aspects of regulatory compliance and EHS programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000
