Are you ready to build a best‑in‑class EHS program?
If you thrive at the intersection of people, process, and planet, this role is for you. As our EHS Program Leader for the California R&D/production site, you’ll partner with operations and engineering to design systems that meet regulatory obligations, minimize risk, and advance the business.
Your mission
Elevate safety culture while delivering regulatory confidence and operational results.
The challenge
Could you turn audits into opportunities? Plan and execute inspections, assessments, and risk reviews that drive measurable improvements.
Can you navigate complexity? Maintain permits and certifications; ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and local/state rules.
Will you lead by example? Chair the Safety Committee and empower employees to participate actively in EHS initiatives.
Do you think systemically? Strengthen ISO 14001/45001 management systems and support internal/external audits.
Are you data‑driven? Investigate incidents and near‑misses using fishbone and 5‑Whys; implement corrective and preventive actions.
Can you make work safer, faster? Conduct JHA/JSA with production/engineering; implement controls and specify PPE.
Will you protect our environment? Manage hazardous materials and waste, including reporting, handling, and Hazardous Materials Business Plan updates.
Can you teach what you know? Deliver targeted EHS training to employees, contractors, and visitors.
Will you scale impact? Share best practices across sites and collaborate with HQ to align companywide EHS strategies.
Do you sweat the details? Support ISO‑related quality improvements and maintain orderly, compliant work areas.
Will you close the loop? Review mandated permits periodically and update as needed.
