EL/ML Teacher (2 Positions)

The Athol Royalston Regional School District (ARRSD) is seeking an ML/EL teacher who will help students learn the English language skills necessary to access grade level subject matter, thrive socially, and fully participate in the school community. The EL/ML teacher will work collaboratively determine focus areas and to meet the needs of EL/ML students district-wide.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide high-quality and differentiated instruction to students according to state standards.
• Create a safe and purposeful learning environment
• Collaborate with other teachers, instructional leaders, and partners to ensure instruction is meeting the needs of students in an includsion, co-teaching or pull-out model, as prescribed by student needs
• Assess students appropriately, analyze data, and determine instructional and intervention decisions, including administration of ACCESS testing, WIDA screening, etc.
• Communicate regularly with families to solicit input and share academic progress
• Participate in regular professional development opportunities during the school year
• Duties and responsibilities as directed by the Building Principal and Director of Pupil Services
