Purpose of Position

Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking an Electric Assembler. The Electric Assembler will support Operations by assembling and integrating electrical components and systems to meet customer requirements.

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Intermediate ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Install electrical components, equipment, and systems.
• Measure materials or objects for installation or assembly.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Pull wire and wire circuits, including 4-way switches.
• Ability to bend and install conduit.
• Work with 208V and 480V electrical panels (no live electrical work performed).
• Electrical integration understanding with transformers.
• Connect and integrate single-phase 110V and 240V electrical systems and components.
• Demonstrate the ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test required).
• Follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Ability to lift and maneuver components weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of on-the-job experience in a related field or industry.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to communicate effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment or materials up to 50 lbs.
• This position involves working in a manufacturing shop setting, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals, requiring proper safety measures.
