Position Title: Electrical Analyst 2
Position Overview: The Electrical Analyst 2 position requires a candidate with 3-6 years of relevant experience and a technical degree, with an emphasis in Aided Engineering or Electrical Systems. This role demands proficiency in various software tools, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently while building strong working relationships with plant staff, design engineering teams, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Management:
Manage equipment such as Linc phones and leased computer equipment.
Technology Transition Management:
Oversee the transition into new applications, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption.
Technology Development:
Research, implement, and promote new and improved design tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Technical Training:
Develop, implement, and coordinate technical training related to software applications, procedures, guidelines, and standards.
Inter-Company Coordination:
Interface with internal departments to support the development of design tools and address hardware and software issues.
Major Application (PDMS & AutoCAD) Management:
Manage access, support, training, and technical issues associated with major applications, including PDMS and AutoCAD.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Technical degree with a focus on Aided Engineering or Electrical Systems.
Experience:
3-6 years of related experience in a similar role.
Software Proficiency:
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD, including both basic and advanced features.
Project Management:
Ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing activities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Communication Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills, necessary for effective collaboration and reporting.
Organizational Skills:
Effective organizational abilities to manage responsibilities and coordinate tasks efficiently.
Relationship Building:
Capability to build and maintain effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering teams, and/or vendors.
