Job Title: Electrical AssemblerLocation: Addison, IL (Onsite)Pay Rate: $23.00 – $27.00 / hourJob Type: Full-Time / Non-UnionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and quality assurance of low and medium voltage power distribution equipment, including switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills, the ability to read technical schematics, and a focus on quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly & WiringAssemble and wire low and medium voltage power distribution components (e.g., switches, switchgear, circuit breakers, bus bars) according to technical specifications.Interpret and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly.Perform detailed installation of control wiring, grounding, relays, sensors, and other critical components.Troubleshooting & Quality AssuranceDiagnose and resolve wiring or component issues discovered during assembly or testing stages.Repair or replace faulty components while adhering to strict quality standards.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve complex technical assembly challenges.Documentation, Safety & OperationsComplete required production documentation, including work orders, test records, and inventory logs.Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.Report potential issues or process improvement suggestions to production leadership.Perform additional production duties as assigned.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in an electrical or mechanical field preferred.Experience: Experience in electrical assembly or wiring (especially in medium-voltage applications) is preferred.Technical Skills:Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.Familiarity with electrical tools and testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power testers) is a plus.Ability to supply personal basic tools is a plus.Soft Skills: Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. independently.Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive hands-on tasks for extended periods.Comfort working in an active industrial setting with potential exposure to electrical hazards (proper PPE provided).Equal Opportunity Employer.
