Job Overview
Associated Staffing is hiring an
Electrical Assembly Technician in Kearney, NE! This position offers a 4-day workweek, competitive pay and opportunities to develop valuable electrical and mechanical skills.
In this hands-on role, you'll assemble, wire and test electrical systems used in grain drying equipment. Electrical experience is preferred, but we're willing to train dependable individuals with strong mechanical abilities, a stable work history and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
Assemble and wire electrical control panels and components.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Test electrical equipment and troubleshoot issues.
Use hand tools and equipment to complete assembly tasks.
Track production time and quantities for work orders.
Operate forklifts to move materials and components.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
Follow established safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
Previous electrical wiring or assembly experience preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Dependable attendance, punctuality and a consistent work history.
Ability to follow instructions, learn new processes and retain training.
Comfortable working with tools and performing hands-on assembly tasks.
HVAC or PLC experience is a plus but not required.
No electrical license required.
Schedule
Monday Thursday, 6: 30 AM 5: 00 PM
Three-day weekends under the regular schedule.
Friday or weekend overtime may be required based on production needs.
