Electrical Control Panel Technician

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an Electrical Control Panel Technician to assemble and wire custom industrial control panels. This is a hands-on opportunity supporting equipment used across industries such as energy, chemical processing, power generation, and life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings
• Assemble and wire custom control panels according to engineering and customer specifications
• Install electrical components, terminals, wiring, and related hardware
• Use hand and power tools to complete panel fabrication and assembly
• Learn different equipment configurations and customer-specific requirements
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with engineering, production, and other shop personnel

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• 1 to 2 years of electrical, electronics, or instrumentation education preferred
• Experience using drills and other basic tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
