Job Summary

Seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with 4 7 years of engineering experience and aerospace/aircraft exposure. The role supports aircraft electrical design, testing, substantiation, certification, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop electrical test plans, checklists, inspection plans, and reports.

  • Prepare aircraft cabin safety substantiation documentation.

  • Support STC/PMA projects and supplier technical deliverables.

  • Identify electrical design changes and support certification activities.

  • Coordinate technical issues with certification personnel and DERs.

  • Support troubleshooting during flight tests and laboratory testing.

  • Prepare technical presentations and project documentation.

Required Qualifications
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related scientific field preferred.

  • 4 7 years of engineering experience.

  • Knowledge of Airbus and Boeing aircraft processes and substantiation techniques.

  • Strong MS Office skills.

  • Familiarity with aircraft mechanical/structural design, materials, fabrication methods, and aerospace hardware.

  • AutoCAD or DraftSight experience required.

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Work Requirements
  • Aircraft/aerospace engineering experience is strongly preferred.

  • Aircraft interiors, design/substantiation engineering, FAR regulations, and aircraft certification experience are preferred.

  • Ability to support customer troubleshooting and testing activities.
