Responsibilities:
- Performing system and sub assembly level electronic component and small gauge wire builds.
- Upgrades and repairs will be performed by following assembly instructions and working to Mil standard drawings.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal direction, read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists and connector pin outs of complex assemblies.
- Must have mechanical assembly and electrical assembly experience of complex Navy shipboard assemblies to include various types of populated chassis, thru hole CCA's and Component board assemblies.
- Must be familiar with soldering, crimping contacts, and mechanical assembly to be considered for this opportunity.
- Must be able to use basic hand tools, crimp tools, and soldering irons.
Requirements:- Knowledge and understanding of IPC-A-620 Wire and Cable Requirements & J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 Soldering Requirements is a plus.
Preferred:- Soldering experience a must have and preferably Solder Certifications.
- In addition, experience in building harnesses a plus.
